The old bridge

The river Djoué is a tributary of the Congo river on the right side and it’s 175 km long. It flows through the region of Pool, where Kindamba is a district.

This concrete bridge over the river was build in 1931-1932. Nowadays there is another bridge at the side of the old one leading in and out of Brazzaville. Among other things I go over that newer bridge to and from Nganga Lingolo several times every week.

Today I planned to go to the river in order to take some pictures under the theme « Forces of nature ». I made some mistakes. I put the times on the camera to 1/15 and 1/20. But in fact I’d set 15 and 20 seconds. Something was wrong but I couldn’t figure out what.

I’m trying it another day.
